Tune-in to Lifetime's new original movie, "Miracle Run," premiering on Monday, August 9 at 9PM (ET/PT). This inspiring film stars Golden Globe and Tony Award winner Mary Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn. The movie will run several times during the month of August. This drama was inspired by the triumphant true story of Corrine Morgan-Thomas, a single mother's perseverance to ensure that her autistic twin sons, Stephen and Phillip, received the best education possible and flourished in a society that at the time expected them to fail. The two boys surpassed everyone's expectations and one boy's uncanny ability to play the guitar got him accepted to a prestigious music school while the other became a star athlete for his high school. The family started a foundation "Miracle Run," which is dedicated to finding a cure for autism. The Morgan family has supported Cure Autism Now for years - participating in the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange, filming public service announcements, and sharing their inspiring story at CAN events. Go to www.lifetimetv.com and search on "Miracle Run" to read features on other families dealing with autism, including Cure Autism Now supporters Tracey and John MacDonald and Helen Motokane.
