Having graduated from the medical treatment department of Henan University in 1985, Ms. Zhang taught in the mineral bureau of Jiaozuo city for two years and then began to undertake children’s clinical work serving as a chief physician. Later in 1995, she was assigned to work in healing and education center as dean of intelligence development faculty.

From 1998 to 2002, Ms. Zhang was engaged in advanced studies and graduated from psychology major in Beijng Normal University and meanwhile, further studied in Beijing Xinyun Nursing School and Beijing Yulin Ability Training Center.

Though the consultation and training to thousands of special children of these years, a unique training method was created. Being expert in language training and creating one miracle after another, Ms. Zhang obtained the extensive praises from lots of afflictive parents. On the basis of practice, she published several valuable papers like “the skills of language training for autistic children”, “the autistic individual—training essay”, “discussion on autism language training”, “the remedy for the autistic children’s strange behaviors”, “the gradual training books for three to twelve years children”, “family training plans for hyperactive children”, “family training plans for the mentally disabled”, “the feelings about the discovery of early encephalic paralysis”, etc. Among them, “the feelings about the discovery of early encephalic paralysis” was recommended to attend “2002 International Medical Management and Techniques Communication Conference” in Berlin, German.

In order to start Zhengzhou Kangda Ability Training Center, Ms. Zhang herself raised more than RMB 400,000 in March, 2002. And later, she invested over RMB 1,000,000 in forging Zhengzhou Kangda children’s behavior development research office, Zhengzhou Kangda autism paradise, Henan special education website and China autism website with intent to serve more special children.

Due to the extraordinary contributions to the development of children’s intelligence, Ms. Zhang was appointed as a researcher by American federal cultural and educational association and honored with the title of “psychology honorary doctor”.

With regard to her contributions, therefore, Ms. Zhang was praised as “a model worker of special education” three times between 1998 and 2001 and “a model for aiding the disabled” by the disabled association of Zhengzhou City in 2002. Furthermore, she passed for “kindly mother’ in the “beautiful mother” column of “Zhengzhou evening paper” and the magazine “the women’s association of Zhengzhou City”. Her original, creative and special training method has received the affirmation from the leaders of China disabled healing center, and also from Huang Qingyi (former governor of Henan province and now assistant executive minister of organization deputy of central authorities), Li Zhibin (former assistant governor of Henan province), Yan Guoxiang (former council chairman of provincial disabled association), Chen Yanqiu (present council chairman of provincial disabled association), and Yao Daixian (a member of standing committee, chairman of politics and law committee and assistant mayor of Zhengzhou city).
